Week of June 7 — Build on the Foundation: Welcome to the Build

Hello Caiman Football Families,

We are excited to begin our summer phase of football as we welcome our full program together for the first time.

This week marks an important step for our team—our incoming freshman class officially joins us, and we begin our summer practices and weight training as one group.

Please note: We are still trying to confirm the field location and we hope to have it confirmed by Monday afternoon.  Please keep an eye out here on CaimanSports.com for the location update.

This Week’s Focus: Welcome to the Build

Throughout the spring, we began laying the foundation of our program. Now, as we move into summer, we continue that work—together.

This is not a new beginning. This is a continuation of what we’ve already started.

For our returning players, this is your opportunity to lead and help bring others along.

For our new players, this is your opportunity to step in, learn, and become part of our program.

For Our Incoming Freshmen (You can join us after your 8th grade promotion ceremonies.)

Welcome to Caiman Football.

We understand that this is a new environment, and there is a lot to learn. That is expected.

You do not need to have everything figured out right away. What matters most is:

  • Showing up consistently
  • Being willing to learn
  • Giving your best effort each day

You are now part of this team, and we are excited to have you with us.

For Our Returning Players

Summer is where leadership begins to show.

Our expectation is that you:

  • Set the standard in attendance and effort
  • Help teach and guide younger players
  • Continue building on what you learned in the spring

Leadership is not about what you say—it’s about what you consistently do.

What to Expect This Summer

Our focus remains consistent:

  • Continue learning our systems
  • Continue building habits
  • Continue developing physically in the weight room

Growth will come from consistency across both the field and the weight room.

Everything we do this summer builds toward our season, which begins at the end of July.

We are not starting over—we are building on the foundation that has already been set.

The work we put in now will determine how prepared we are when the season begins.

We are excited to have our full program together and look forward to the growth that will take place over the coming weeks.
