Week of June 14 — Build on the Foundation: Learn and Lift

Hello Caiman Football Families,

We are heading into our second week of summer, and it has been great to have our full program working together.

With everyone now in place, we continue building on the foundation that was set during the spring.

This Week’s Focus: Learn and Lift

Development in our program happens in two places every day:

  • On the field
  • In the weight room

Both matter. Both are connected.

The players who grow the most are the ones who take both seriously.

On the Field

Our focus remains on learning and execution:

  • Understanding assignments
  • Communicating clearly
  • Building confidence through repetition

We are continuing to install and build on what has already been introduced.

In the Weight Room

Strength development is a key part of our program.

Players should focus on:

  • Effort and consistency
  • Proper technique
  • Supporting and encouraging teammates

Growth in the weight room does not happen in one day—it happens over time through consistent work.

For Our Players

This is where habits begin to separate people.

The expectation is simple:

  • Be consistent
  • Stay engaged
  • Take pride in your work

Improvement comes from what you do every day, not occasionally.

Looking Ahead

As we move through the summer, our goal is to continue stacking days—learning, training, and building habits that will carry into the season.

Nothing we are doing right now is temporary.

We are building something that lasts.
