We have the craziest week of the season coming up!!!!

Monday OG 4PM DEADLINE for league meet #5 and Escondido Inv.

Tuesday OG 4 PM

Wednesday HV 4 PM pre meet, practice done early

Thursday Meet #5 at OG 3:30 PM ready to race SCORING MEET!!

Friday If you are in the Escondido Invitational, meet at Escondido High School. Meet starts at 4PM, please arrive by 3:30PM

All other athletes do a pre-meet at home and you do not need to send in your workout.

Saturday Dick Wilkins Inv. for 9th and 10th graders. Meet starts at 8AM at Del Norte High School. All athletes should show up 1.5 hours before they race.

I will send out heat sheets as they are sent to me. If you make it into a race at one of the invitationals and can not make it I need to know the same day so I can scratch you from the race or races.

Below: you will find the calendar and the voting for team awards. All athletic award forms must be returned by Wednesday 4/22/26 at 7pm. They can be emailed or hand delivered. The athletes determine who deserves the team awards. VOTE VOTE VOTE!!!

Tentative date for team party is May 9th 2PM. It will be a potluck swimming party. Please email if the school has some event that will be happening on the same day or any major team conflict.

Moving forward no athlete is allowed to do leg swings or anything else on the back fence to the baseball field at HV. This is a new rule from the school. I am aware that all distance runners and most of our runners do leg swings at every practice but they are not allowed to do them any more on that fence.

I know it makes no sense that we can’t do leg swings there and we run on the track a couple feet from the fence but that is their new rule.
