XC – Week of 7/28


Hi all,

This week is a little split: summer practice is Monday — Wednesday ( times & locations below). But OFFICIAL in-season practice begins Thursday 7/31. Please note the attached schedule to confirm all meeting times & locations.
We will rotate locations throughout the week during the rest of season. Please be ON TIME and confirm the park we are meeting at. If practice says it starts at 3:45 pm— that means we START running at 3:45, we will not wait. Best is to get there 5 mins early.
Starting 7/31, attendance will be taken. If you are missing, you will be marked absent and have to send us a make-up workout on any day you miss. (Unless sick or family emergency). Please be courteous and let your coaches know when you will not be at practice. ** NOTE : every student needs to train with the team at least 3 days a week to stay on the team, but running/cross training 5 days a week.
Lastly, every student needs to be cleared on Home Campus. If you are not cleared, we cannot allow you to run with us on Thursday 7/31. Here is a link on how to do this if you need help:

7/28 Monday: Kit Carson 4pm—5:30 pm
7/29 Tuesday Kit Carson 4pm—5:30 pm
7/30 Wed. LAST SUMMER PRACTICE 4pm—5:30 Beach run at Oceanside Pier (meeting by The Tin Fish)
7/31 Thursday: 1st Official Practice 3:45–5:30 pm Kit Carson Park
8/1 Friday: Kit Carson 3:45–5:30 pm
