JV had a great weekend bringing home 2 wins on the road against O’Farrell Charter School & Mt. Carmel.
The Caimans defense has improved tremendously since their loss to Mission Hills back on September 9th. The Caimans have only given up only one touchdown to Poway which they lost 6-0 on September 11th, and since then the team has been lights out against every opponent not letting them score once in the last 3 games.
The Caimans offense stayed strong this past weekend, putting up 44 points despite Volunteer Assistant Coach Luis “Coach Mike” Reyes and Quarterback Ashley Chavez stepping away. Both Coach & Ashley have earned exciting opportunities to compete on October 26th in the NFL Flag Regional Tournament for a chance to reach Nationals in Canton, Ohio, and in November traveling to Mexico City with Selección Baja California U14 Femenil.

Varsity Update:
Defeated Tri-City Christian HS 62-0 this week
Game was cancelled versus San Diego Jewish Academy due to the opposing team not having enough players eligible to compete. Still waiting to hear if the game will be rescheduled or if it’s a forfeit.
