Week 6 — Hold the Line: Resilience

HOLD THE LINE
A weekly reflection on character, growth, and the standards that guide our season.

This week brings strong competition and our final tournament of the regular season. By now, the team has experienced success, setbacks, and the emotional swings that come with both.

Our focus this week is resilience.

Resilience is the ability to respond well—especially after disappointment. Holding the line with resilience means learning quickly, staying optimistic without ignoring reality, and continuing to invest in growth regardless of recent results. It’s about having a short memory and a long-term perspective.

For young teams in particular, resilience is a defining skill. The ability to reset, refocus, and recommit allows progress to continue even when the path is uneven. This week, we emphasize response over reaction and growth over frustration.

Locker Room Mantra: “Reset fast. Rise together.”
