HOLD THE LINE
A weekly reflection on character, growth, and the standards that guide our season.
With teams set and tryouts behind us, we move into our first full week of training. This is where excitement begins to fade and habits begin to form.
Our focus this week is discipline.
Discipline is the ability to do the right things consistently, especially when no one is watching and when motivation comes and goes. Holding the line through discipline means paying attention to details, respecting the process, and committing fully to daily preparation. These early training weeks lay the foundation for everything that follows.
For a young team, discipline creates clarity. It allows athletes to grow confidently, knowing that progress comes from repeated effort, not quick results. We are emphasizing consistency in fundamentals, communication, and work ethic—because disciplined teams are free to play fast and fearless when competition arrives.
