Last big week for track this season!!!

Everyone can participate in league meet #6.

All athletes should do their best; only the top three athletes in each event throughout the season move on to the Coastal Conference meet on May 7 th at OG. This Coastal Conference meet’s time has changed because of AP/Star testing. Meet starts at 4:30 and all athletes should be there by 4PM. All athletes that win our league meet race or hit the cut off time need to let the coaches know if they are going to compete in CIF before they leave that meet.

SENIOR NIGHT!!!!!

Small ceremony before the race WITH ALL THE SCHOOLS 3:30 ISH

We will do our senior night after the meet in front of the stands.

All athletes need to stay till the end. Should start 7:15 PM – 7:30 PM

Thursday HV 4PM

Friday NO Practice (do not need to send in workouts)

Any parents that want to help with senior night please email.

Remember that the field is for warm ups not setting up camps. Encourage your communities to stay in the stands. NO electronic devices on the field or events. Make sure all your athletes are wearing the assigned Track and Field uniform (no other sports attire) and 3/16^th needle spikes.   All relay teams must match – this means color of shorts, style of shorts, undergarments under singlet and shorts.  Teams that do not match will not be allowed to race.

This week’s check in sheet has the names of all the athletes highlighted that sent out emails and text to friends and family. About half the team are going to receive a sports hoodie, shirt and PJ bottoms. Please make sure to put your sizes on this week’s check in sheet. The shirt and hoodie will have your name on it. If you want a different name, please write the wanted name on the check in sheet, otherwise we will use your last name. Please thank your team captains for their decisions to take care of everyone who sent out the communication to friends and family.

For next week’s schedule I will email it out on May 3 or sooner. We will not have a calendar made for in May.
