Week of August 11

 

Hi CAHS Volleyball Families!

It has been a full week getting back into the swing of 5 days a week!  The tryout process was tough this year and a lot of good competition.  But that competition makes for strong teams at all 3 levels.   Congratulations again to all of you! Each week you will get a weekly update on the things to come.  Please make sure to check for it by Sunday evening or Monday morning so you know what to expect.  It will be posted both on the website and through Sports You. 

 

As a reminder- our current ways of communication is through caiman.homecampus.com and direct communication is being done through the Sports You App.  If you are not in either the player or parent group please reach out to either your head coach or Coach Jen and we’ll make sure to get you added.

Carpooling– 

Please feel free to set up your own carpools. For farther away games we will have 1 van available on a first come first serve basis available to all levels and I will create a link in the weekly newsletter for sign ups. If you are able to carpool others, click on the link for the game that you can carpool and add your vehicle so other families can add their player to your car.

Varsity Westview Tournament Information- Parents please plan accordingly! 

Friday’s pool play will begin at 3:00 pm. Planning on mostly 3-team pools with crossover so it should be a relatively quick afternoon. 

Saturday will begin at 8:00 am with a minimum of 2 matches. We will be doing small brackets, 4-6 teams to get us done by 2:00 pm. (Remember this is an estimated time!)

All matches will be at Alliant University. Please prepare your families regarding site rules attached. 

ALLIANT SITE RULES

Alliant will be charging for parking. $15/day or $20 for a two-day pass. Cash or CC will be accepted. 

Entry to the tournament will be $20/day for adults. Seniors and kids 17 & under enter free. Cash or tap to pay will be available.
