Congratulations in making this year’s Classical Academy Girl’s Varsity Tennis Team. It was a good 3 day tryouts and you survived with flying Caiman colors. Way to go!!!! It will be a great season and we cannot wait to start working with all of you.

We have a lot of work ahead of us. Our first match is Monday September 15th Home @ OG. It sounds like it’s far away, but it will creep up quick. With limited court availability we have to work efficiently and be as productive as possible during our practices to be ready to Chomp Chomp. We are grateful for Orange Glen for sharing their courts with us.
That being said, here is the practice schedule & Important Dates for August 18 thru September 11th at Orange Glen HS Courts (Please park in the Student Parking Lot ) & a couple Wednesday practices at Mountain View Park. Be sure to input these days and times & LOCATION on your phone calendars so we are all on the same page.
August 18 Practice – Courts 4/5 2:45 – 4:15pm
August 19/20/21/22 Practice – Courts 4/5 3:45 – 5:15pm
August 25 Practice – Courts 4/5 2:45 – 4:15pm
August 25th and/or 26th Parent Mtg @ OG 4:00pm (Parents – Please make one of these days)
August 26/27/28/29 Practice – Courts 4/5 3:45 – 5:15pm
September 3rd Practice @ Mountain View Park 3:30 – 5pm
September 2/4 Practice – Courts 4/5 3:45 – 5:15pm
September 5th – TEAM BONDING
September 8 Practice – Courts 4/5 2:45 – 4:15pm
September 10th Practice @ Mountain View Park 3:30 – 5pm

September 11th UNIFORM DISTRIBUTION
On Monday 8/18 Practice you will all need to have a USTA account as CIF will no longer use UTR for their tennis ranking. Please see link below: You must create a profile for us to add you to our team roster. Please try to do this before Monday.
I will have your “COMMITMENT” Contracts for you to sign next week. For any future days you know that you are not available for practice or matches let us know ASAP so can we can plan our practice formats and match line up accordingly.
There are a lot of moving parts that goes on behind the scene, so we really appreciate your prompt and open Communication with us so we can do our coaching preparation better and with efficiency.
