Hello CAHS Girls Basketball Family,

Welcome to the 2025 season! We’re so excited to get started and are looking forward to a great year of growth, teamwork, and competition.

Each week, we’ll be sending out a short newsletter to keep everyone updated on:

• Game schedules and results
• Practice times and locations
• Carpool coordination
• Announcements and volunteer opportunities
• Team bonding events and more!

Practices:

• Wednesday 11/12 @ 3:30-5:30pm
• Thursday 11/13 @ 3:30-5:30pm
• Friday 11/14 @ 3:30-5:30pm

Parent Meeting – Wednesday, 11/12 at 5:30pm

After Wednesday’s practice, we’ll be holding a mandatory parent meeting to go over the nuts and bolts of the season. We’ll also be looking for family volunteers to help with:

• Keeping the scorebook during games
• Running the clock at home games

Additionally, we’ll have sign-ups for hosting team bonding nights throughout the season—these are always a great way for the girls to connect off the court!

Game Schedule & Carpool Info

First Game: Saturday, 11/15
Location: Canyon Crest Academy
Game Time: 3:00 PM
Arrival Time: Please arrive by 2:15 PM for warm-ups.

Next Week’s Schedule:

Practices:

• Monday 11/17 @ 1-3pm
• Tuesday 11/18 @ 3:30-5:30pm
• Wednesday 11/19 @ 3:30-5:30pm

Games:

• Thursday, 11/20 – Away at Hilltop (Chula Vista)
  Game time: 6:00pm

We will have a van available, but not all athletes can fit, so we’ll need additional cars for transportation.

 

• Friday, November 21 – Away at Valley Center
  Game time: 6:30pm

No van available, so we’ll need to coordinate carpools for this game as well.
