Week 3 – Confidence

This week we step into a real football environment: a scrimmage against someone else, under the lights, in front of a crowd. It’s our first true chance to test what we’ve built—not just our playbook, but our poise. This week is about Confidence.

Confidence doesn’t come from hype—it comes from preparation. It’s not something you fake. It’s something you earn every day. When you’ve repped your assignment, studied your install, and locked in during practice, you walk differently. You communicate with urgency. You respond to adversity with calm. Confidence is visible in how you show up, and invisible in how you bounce back.

Every player will be tested this week—not just in execution, but in mindset. Confidence is what separates teams that react from teams that respond. When the lights come on, the tempo picks up, and emotions rise, confidence is what steadies the ship.

We want our team to look like it belongs on that field. That means no panic in the huddle. No overreaction after a bad play. No selfish energy or finger-pointing. Just belief. Belief in the reps we’ve taken. Belief in the system. Belief in each other. Belief in who we are becoming.

So whether you’re a senior leading from the front or a freshman getting your first varsity snaps, walk into that stadium like you were built for it—because you are. Let your preparation speak. Let your poise lead. And let your confidence tell the story.

This is our time to show what we’re made of.
