Hello Caiman Water Polo Families,

Welcome to the 2025 Boys Water Polo season! Our season officially starts July 31, 2025 and we will start our tryouts on that date. We are in Division 1 again and have a competitive game and tournament schedule this year. I have confidence that we will do well if we put in the work!

We will be continuing to hold practices at both William Wagner pool on Mondays 9:00-12:00 PM, and in the mornings at Palomar College, Tuesday – Friday. Our Varsity team will practice 5:30-7:30 AM and JV will be 6:00-7:30 AM. I am looking into moving the times to evening practices before school starts on August 26th but it will depend on the college’s pool availability. Their pool is very busy and we are lucky to have it available to us on a daily basis.

It is very important to have your Athletic Clearance uploaded and waivers signed by July 30th. No one is allowed in the pool until you are cleared by the Athletic Department.

We will not be holding preseason practices this summer. Please make sure that you are staying in shape and swimming often. There is a CIF mandated no contact period and our school is June 29 – July 12th. I will not be able to respond to any communication until after July 12th.

The school has an updated Athletics website CaimanSports.com and water polo information will be posted on there as well. I will hold a parent meeting to go over expectations and rules after tryouts are completed. Please check my weekly emails as it will have most of the information that you are looking for including any changes to the schedule. Our schedule is still a rough draft and I hope to have it finalized by next month.
