Week of March 9

 

Hi CAHS Beach Families!

Happy Daylight Savings!  I know not all would agree, but I love this time of year and it helps immensely with light for our games!    

 

We made some huge improvements this past week as a team and we are so proud of the girls! As a reminder, any dismissal that takes place after 1:45pm you must check into your 4th period class before leaving or you will be marked absent.  

 

We have started our SnapRaise campaign.  This is our biggest fundraiser.  Athletes, if you  have not added at least 20 emails or phone numbers to your account, please get that done ASAP.   Parents please ask your athlete if they have done so. We do not require a certain amount to be raised, however the goal per athlete is $150 and full participation is expected by our athletic department. 

 

On March 17th we will be selling pizza at lunch.  We are still in need of an adult to order and pick the pizzas from Costco that day and deliver them to the school.  If you are able to help out, please let me know.  Athletes please plan on helping sell pizza during lunch that day.  

 

On March 21 we have our beach volleyball clinic.  Our high school team will be helping run a clinic for middle school athletes.  More details to come, but please save the date.

• @ Ponto Beach- 3:45pm start time
• Early Dismissal- 2:15pm
• Girls change at school!

 

Wednesday, 3/11- Game @ Coastal- 3:00pm Start Time

• @ Oceanside Harbor (far north end)

• Early Dismissal 1:15pm

 

Thursday,3/12- NO Practice

 

 Friday, 3/13- NO Practice       

 

Looking Ahead : 

Monday, 3/16- Practice @ MHC 9-11am

Tuesday, 3/17- Pizza Fundraiser @ lunch

Wednesday, 3/18- Game vs  Oceanside- 3:30pm Start Time

Carpooling– 

Please feel free to set up your own carpools. For farther away games we will have 1 van available on a first come first serve basis available to all levels and I will create a link in the weekly newsletter for sign ups. If you are able to carpool others, click on the link for the game that you can carpool and add your vehicle so other families can add their player to your car.
