Final Week of the Season & Senior Night Celebration
As we head into the final week of the 2026 season, we want to thank all of our players, families, coaches, and supporters for an incredible spring. This Friday marks Senior Night as we celebrate the dedication, leadership, and commitment of our senior players and their families. We encourage all levels of the program to come out and support our seniors as they close out their final home season as Caimans.
Novice Team Update
The Frosh Caimans battled hard in two competitive games this week, showing resilience and aggressive play on the bases throughout both contests.
In Monday’s dramatic 11-10 walk-off loss to Coastal Academy, the Caimans showcased their speed and offensive pressure. Joey White drove in three runs, while Derek McAdam delivered a two-run single to spark the offense. Grayson Gagnon, Brooks Heyer, and Joey White each collected hits, and the team totaled 10 stolen bases on the day. Landon Sakurai and Gianni Filpi helped lead the aggressive baserunning effort with multiple stolen bases each.
Against Point Loma later in the week, the offense continued to swing the bats well, out-hitting the Pointers 13-6. Gianni Filpi had a standout performance, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases. Logan Johnson also collected three hits and drove in two runs, while Joey White and Lucas Hodge added multiple-hit performances. Sawyer Petrie contributed an RBI single as the Caimans jumped out to an early lead.
