The Caimans continued to build momentum across all levels this past week, highlighted by explosive offensive performances from JV and Varsity. While the Freshman squad faced tough competition, there were still bright spots in individual efforts and continued growth on the field.


Varsity Game Recaps

Nance, Hoff Lead Offensive Surge in 14–6 Win

The Varsity Caimans put together a strong team performance in a 14–6 win over Central, powered by a 15-hit attack.

Benny Nance led the way, going 3-for-4 with two doubles, while Trevor Hoff matched him with three hits of his own. Miguel Monteon, Timothy Gosselin, Weston Michals, and Hoff each drove in two runs in a balanced offensive effort.

Chaeton Revilla earned the win on the mound, throwing 4.2 innings and allowing just one run. Nick Holbrook added a scoreless inning in relief. The Caimans were aggressive on the bases, swiping four bags, including two from Travis Perry.


Caimans Explode for 21 Runs in Dominant Win

Varsity continued their hot streak with a 21–2 win over Alexander Dawson.

The offense was relentless, piling up 16 hits. Miguel Monteon led the team with three RBIs, while Weston Michals, Monteon, and Nance each collected two hits. Sammy McNemar showed great discipline at the plate, drawing three walks as the team totaled 10 walks overall.

Nick Holbrook earned the win, striking out five over three innings. The pitching staff combined for a strong outing, with Christian Correll and Chase Piceno closing things out.


JV Game Recaps

Caimans Roll Past San Dieguito Academy 15–1

JV opened the week with a dominant 15–1 win behind timely hitting and strong pitching.

Logan Toro and Timothy Gosselin each had multiple hits, while Toro and Brody Kintzele drove in three runs apiece. Kintzele also added a home run to spark the offense.

On the mound, Dominic Fracassi and Tommy Swenson combined for a strong outing, with Swenson striking out eight over four shutout innings. The defense was flawless, committing zero errors.


Gosselin Leads Offensive Explosion in 18–0 Win

The JV Caimans followed up with an 18–0 win over Mission Vista, highlighted by an incredible performance from Timothy Gosselin, who went 4-for-4 with two triples.

The Caimans racked up 17 hits, with Owen Williams and Gosselin each driving in three runs. Contributions came throughout the lineup as the team erupted for 10 runs in the sixth inning.

Owen Williams set the tone on the mound with four no-hit innings, while Aiden Birkel added shutout relief. The team also showed patience at the plate, drawing seven walks.

Hawkins, Johnson Show Bright Spots

The Freshman Caimans faced a tough matchup against La Costa Canyon. Logan Johnson recorded a hit, while Hudson Hawkins drove in the team’s lone run. Mac West added energy on the bases with two stolen bases.


McAdam Drives in Five, Offense Shows Life

In a high-scoring game against San Pasqual, Derek McAdam had a standout performance, driving in five runs and hitting a home run. The team showed discipline at the plate with nine walks and aggressiveness on the bases, totaling seven stolen bases. Gianni Filpi led the way with two stolen bases.


Hawkins Leads Offensive Effort Against Rancho Bernardo

Hudson Hawkins went 2-for-3 to lead the team in hits, while Lucas Hodge drove in a run. The Caimans were active on the bases once again, stealing five bases, with Hawkins and Logan Johnson each swiping multiple bags.
