Football Practice Update: 9/9 Lightning Warnings

Due to lightning warnings in the area, today’s Novice Football practice has been canceled.

Varsity Football practice has been pushed back to 6:00 PM in hopes that the storms will continue moving away from our practice facility before that time. We will continue monitoring conditions and communicate any additional changes if necessary.

We apologize for the inconvenience and understand that schedule changes can create challenges for our families. These decisions are based on current lightning warnings and the safety of our student-athletes and staff. To help avoid any confusion, yesterday’s practice cancellation was also due to lightning warnings—not heat.

For any athletes who need time to arrange transportation home, Coach Ben and I will remain at the Studio Campus with them until a ride can be arranged.
