Hello Lady Caiman,

A successful week of practice, scrimmage, and our first non-league match has concluded. We all endured the heat, and we hope for cooler weather next week. We performed well against Mission Hills and had a decent match against Ramona HS. Ramona is a formidable team, and we will improve as we play more matches. The nerves and heat were a factor, but as we gain more experience and confidence, we will achieve success.

The positive aspect of playing against Ramona is that all players had the opportunity to participate. Yesterday’s Final score 6-12 in favor of Ramona.

We have a busy week ahead. Let us pace ourselves and maintain our belief in our abilities. It is only the beginning of a “Short/Long” season filled with numerous tennis matches.

Week of August 31st – September 4th

Monday, August 31st

– Media Day: 12:15 PM at CAHS Studio*

• – Parent Meeting: 1:15 PM at CAHS**
• – 3:15 PM “Away” Match vs. Escondido HS

*Media Day Information: Meet at CAHS Lobby by 12:15 PM in Full Uniform for a photo shoot. Arrange yourselves from shortest to tallest as we enter the photo area. Team, individual, and coach photos will be taken. For the “SNAP” raise, players will be requested to submit 20 emails and 20 cell numbers on their “NOTES” app to expedite the process for Snap Coordinators to obtain your information.

**Parent Meeting: If I am unable to secure a classroom, let us meet at the front patio at 1:15 PM.
