## Doubleheader Recap vs. Brawley High School
The Varsity Caimans split a competitive doubleheader on Saturday, showing grit, strong pitching, and offensive firepower throughout the day.
### Game 1: Caimans 2 – 1 Win
Runs were hard to come by, but our Caimans executed when it mattered most to secure a 2–1 victory. Our outstanding players of the game were Chaeton Revilla and Trevor Hoff.
**Chaeton Revilla** delivered a dominant complete game performance, recording all 21 outs over seven innings. He allowed just four hits and one run while striking out five and walking only one. It was a poised, efficient outing that set the tone early.
Offensively, **Trevor Hoff** led the charge:
* 2-for-3 at the plate
* 2 RBIs
* RBI single in the first inning
* Solo home run to right field in the fourth
In a tight, low-scoring battle, timely hitting and strong mound presence made the difference. This was a great example of playing clean, composed baseball in pressure moments.

### Game 2: Caimans Fall 9 – 7
Game two was a back-and-forth battle that showcased the resilience and offensive depth of our lineup. Players of the game was Weston Michals and Travis Perry.
**Weston Michals** had a huge day at the plate:
* 3-for-4
* Double and two singles
* 2 RBIs
* Multiple stolen bases
The Caimans fought back in the fifth inning to take a 4–3 lead, highlighted by Michals’ RBI double and aggressive baserunning. In the sixth, the offense continued to apply pressure:
* Michals delivered another RBI single
* **Landon Falk** extended the lead with a groundout RBI
* The team swiped five total bases
**Travis Perry** contributed 2 RBIs and multiple stolen bases, while **Luke Longo** added two hits in two at-bats.
Although the late inning didn’t go our way, the energy, competitiveness, and offensive production were strong takeaways as we continue to grow early in the season.
