Week of February 23

 

Hi CAHS Beach Families!

In true outdoor spring sport fashion, we learned all about the fun of how weather affects our sport!   This week is looking sunny and bright.  Our courts will still be very wet, but should be playable and we start games this week!!!   Please bring layers for game days as it does get chilly! 

 

Monday will be very busy for us!   We will hand out uniforms at practice and then after practice we will head to CAHS Studio campus (207 E Pennsylvania Ave) for our yearbook photo and then we will do lunch together.   Please note the pick up times below.  Also please bring a side of something to share for lunch- ie:  chips,dessert, or fruit.

This Week:

 

Monday, 2/23- Practice @ MHC 9- 10:45am (in order to have time to get to our photo on time)

• 11:30am Yearbook Photo and Lunch at CAHS
• 12:30pm- pick after lunch at CAHS

 

Tuesday, 2/24- Game @ Scripps Ranch- 3:00-pm start time

• Early Dismissal (on your 5 Star App) 1:30pm (Please be at Scripps Ranch by 2:15pm)
• 10410 Falcon Way- If you are looking at the school from the student parking lot, the courts are next to the parking lot behind you and to the right. They kind of look out towards the 15 freeway. 

 

Wednesday, 2/25- Game vs Helix (at MHC) 3:30pm start time

• Early Dismissal (on your 5 Star App) 2:00pm (Please be at Mission Hills Church by 2:30pm) We have to set up for a game not just practice so please leave school and come straight to the courts

 

Thursday, 2/26- UPDATE: We will most likely make this an optional practice- since we got rained out last week. 

 

Friday, 2/27- NO Practice       

 

Looking Ahead : 

Monday, 3/2- Practice @ MHC 9-11am

Tuesday, 3/3- NO Practice

 

Wednesday, 3/4- Game @ Horizon Prep- 3:30pm Start Time

• Early Dismissal 2:00pm

 

Thursday,3/5- Game vs Pac Ridge- 3:30pm Start time

• Early Dismissal 2:00pm

 

Friday, 3/6- NO Practice       

 

Carpooling– 

Please feel free to set up your own carpools. For farther away games we will have 1 van available on a first come first serve basis available to all levels and I will create a link in the weekly newsletter for sign ups. If you are able to carpool others, click on the link for the game that you can carpool and add your vehicle so other families can add their player to your car.
