Home Match Officiating Assignments & Game Night Expectations

As part of being a complete program, we take pride in running professional, organized matches — at home and on the road. Table work and line judging are part of our shared responsibility and help our athletes grow in their understanding of the game.

Here are the assignments for the season:

Program Structure

  • Varsity is split into two officiating groups.

    • One group works the table and lines for the Novice match.

    • The other group works the table and lines for the JV match.

    • Groups rotate throughout the season.

  • JV is split into two groups and will alternate working assigned home matches.

  • Novice players do not work Varsity matches.

Game Night Expectations (All Levels)

JV & Novice Players

  • Are expected to stay for the first two games of the Varsity match, both home and away.

  • Officiating groups are expected to stay for the entire Varsity match.

Varsity Players

  • Are expected to be present and work JV & Novice matches at home and on the road.

  • Officiating groups must arrive 25 minutes prior to the start time of their assigned match.

When assigned to work:

  • Arrive early and prepared.

  • Be attentive and professional.

  • Represent our program with maturity.

Game nights are program-wide events. We support one another. We serve one another. We stay connected across levels.
