Week 5 — Hold the Line: Toughness

HOLD THE LINE
A weekly reflection on character, growth, and the standards that guide our season.

This week marks the start of league play and our second tournament of the season. The volume of competition increases, and the physical and mental demands begin to stack.

Our focus this week is toughness.

Toughness is not about bravado or playing without feeling—it’s about staying committed when things feel heavy. Holding the line through toughness means showing up tired but focused, staying connected through long days, and continuing to compete with intention even when momentum isn’t in our favor.

As the season accelerates, toughness becomes a shared responsibility. It shows up in preparation, communication, and how teammates support one another through fatigue and pressure. These are the weeks that quietly shape who a team really is.

Locker Room Mantra: “Stay connected. Stay tough. Hold the line.”
