Week of Sept 22nd

 

Hi Caiman Volleyball! 

We hope everyone had a great week.  Varsity and JV played a couple of league games this week and took home the wins.   Varsity played in a tournament this weekend and went to the Silver Division Finals, but came up a little short in the last game.   Still a full fun week!   This week we get to be back at home and we have a few “out of the norm” things taking place with a Rowdy Crowd on Wednesday at our game, a split location game on Thursday, Fundraiser on Friday and a JV tournament on Saturday.  Make sure you check below for all the details! 

 

JV and Novice Parents we need you!!! 

We have 8 home games left for regular season play and we need at least 1 parent at every game to sit at the snack bar table during the varsity match so that the varsity parents can watch their daughters play.  Varsity parents have been covering during the Nov/JV games but they want to be able to watch their daughters play, so please volunteer by signing up on this spreadsheet: Volleyball Snack Bar Volunteers

 

Fundraising

Snack Bar– This Friday Sept 26 at Escondido High School – we will be working the snack bar at the football game.  Here is the link to sign up.  Please sign up tonight!   We still have 3 slots open for the 4-6pm slot to be filled, 6 slots left for the 8:30pm-4th quarter clean up/load van shift, and 4 slots open for after the game.   The after the game shift will literally only take about 10 minutes back at the school but we HAVE to have people there to help! (Like maybe before going to In N Out after the game)  😀

 

Snap Raise is going great!  But we still have a few athletes that have not input their emails/phone numbers. Please make sure you have input at least 20 emails/phone numbers!   This is the major fundraiser for us and we need FULL participation from all! 

 

If you have not met the $150 per person goal on Snap Raise and/or added all 20 emails/phone numbers the expectation is that you make sure you are signed up to help with the additional fundraisers.   The football snack bar fundraiser specifically is happening in place of practice so we need everyone to participate.

Wednesday,9/24- Game vs Foothills Christian

                           – 4:30pm/6pm

                           – Rowdy Crowd (CAMS Night has moved to Oct 1)

  – No Early Dismissal due to a later start

 

Thursday, 9/25- Game vs Esco Charter JV/Var 3:30pm 

• Novice will work game then go to Charter to play at 6pm
• JV/Var will play and then go to Novice’s game at Charter to run their game and support them
• Early Dismissal 2:15pm

 

Friday, 9/26- Snack Bar Fundraiser

    

Saturday 9/27- JV Ramona Tournament  – Details to follow (still waiting for details from Ramona)

• Cost to get in $8
• First Game is at 8 am

Carpooling– 

Please feel free to set up your own carpools. For farther away games we will have 1 van available on a first come first serve basis available to all levels and I will create a link in the weekly newsletter for sign ups. If you are able to carpool others, click on the link for the game that you can carpool and add your vehicle so other families can add their player to your car.
