Girls Volleyball News 9/2

Week of Sept 1

Hi CAHS Volleyball Families!

Great week with some good wins and a bonder at the beach with some great team pictures!  All three teams put in a valiant effort at the beach, but it was the Novice team that came out victorious meeting the criteria of dimensions, creativity, everyone involved, and being able to withstand the attacks of the ocean claiming the title of Best Sandcastle!  Congrats Novice!

Rebekah Borland is coordinating the snack bar, but please check out this link to see the items we could still use.  Please add your name to the item you will be donating. Our next home game is Tuesday so donations can be brought to the game or practice on Wednesday.

Volleyball Snack Bar

Fundraising

Fundraising is a required and essential part of us being able to run a good program. Outside of the on going snack bar, we held our first pizza fundraiser at school on Friday.  Thank you to Mikaela Akesson for picking up the pizzas for us.

This Wednesday ALL players will need to bring 20 emails/phone numbers with them to practice as we will be setting up our Snap Raise accounts.  This fundraiser hands down brings in the most money for us with the least amount of work.

Also, This Friday,Sept 5 – our VARSITY  team and a couple parents will be working the gate at our first home football game of the season from 4-6:30pm and then Nov/JV will cover from 6:30pm-Close (More details will be posted in Sports You once we receive them from athletics)

Snack Bar- Sept 26 we will be working the snack bar at the football game

SnapRaise- we will be participating in SnapRaise again this year.  More details to come soon!
