Hi!
Firstly, thank you to our team captains for stepping up to be there for your teammates & coaches: Claire Gavin, Eden Zimmerman, Esteban Angeles, Camilo Anderson, & Mateo Tangonan. These athletes are here to support & cheer on our team! Thank you guys!
Great job at CCA invite everyone! A very honorable mention to Gunner Silva for breaking the school record in the 3 mile AND placing 4th in a pool of over 900 runners that day. We’re so proud of all the hard work you’ve all done.
**Please note, I made some edits to this week’s schedule in the GoogleSheets file. Tomorrow is Labor Day, so practice is optional at Kit Carson 3:45–5:30. HOWEVER, if you’re looking to be competitive this season, I’d highly encourage you to come. If you are NOT coming to practice, please complete a 40–50 min run on your own time & send your workout. EVERYONE MUST STILL RUN !
We are at Dana Hills this weekend. Again, please arrive 2hrs before your race time. Everyone should start warming up/plyos 45 mins before the race and be ON the race line 10-15 mins before the race starts. Dont forget you need to cool down 20 minutes & stretch AFTER you race as well.

LAST NOTE: We are signed up for 2 fundraisers. 1) XC will be in charge of pizza at lunch September 19th. Team captains will need to be present for this event. 2) Thursday Oct.23rd we will need both parents and students to sign up and help with the homecoming football snack bar. If you haven’t already, please sign up below for football fundraiser, thanks!
