Parent Meeting ~30 Minutes
1. โHold the Lineโ
The Boys Volleyball program is a competitive, disciplined, team-first program.ย It is a program with humble beginnings.ย It is a program with a strong foundation.ย It is a program of champions.
Holding the line means that we acknowledge the good, right, and true things that the players and coaches who came before us have done and that we continue to do those things.
Competitive means we expect to win โ and we prepare the right way.
Disciplined means we handle academics, we show up on time, we control our body language, and we respond to adversity with maturity.
Team-first means no one is bigger than the program. Roles matter. Bench energy matters. Practice habits matter.ย If it doesnโt help the team, we donโt do it.
Your sons can expect:
- Organized, purposeful practices
- Clear communication
- Honest feedback
- Accountability
They will be coached hard.ย They will be corrected.ย They will be challenged.ย And they will be cared for.ย Our job is to push them to grow โ as athletes and as young men.
What We Expectโฆ
From players:
- Effort.
- Coachability.
- Respect.
- A team-first mindset.
***JV & Novice: Please plan on staying for the first 2 sets of each varsity game; game table roles & responsibilities will be assigned for each home match.***
***Varsity: Plan on being present and cheering on the JV & Novice teams when we are at the same game day location.ย For home games, game table roles & responsibilities will be assigned for each home match.***
From parents:
- Support your son.
- Trust the coaching staff.
- Reinforce resilience.
- Model composure in the stands.
If thereโs ever a concern, WAIT 24 hours.ย Then, players speak to coaches first. Then we involve parents if needed.
When we stay aligned โ staff, players, and families โ the program thrives.

3. Fundraising
Fundraising allows us to provide a high-quality experience for your sons โ team bonders, gear they wear with pride, and training equipment beyond the basics.
We are building something strong โ something the boys are proud to represent.
Our SnapRaise campaign is how we collectively invest in that experience.
This is about ownership. This is about commitment.
Every player is expected to fully engage in the process by building a strong contact list and completing the outreach steps.ย (20 emails and 20 phone numbers).
We are asking for commitment โ not quotas.
If your family has unique circumstances, please communicate with me directly. Otherwise, full engagement in the process is part of being in this program.
Date: February 17th, EVCC, 5p —ย Student-Athletes will create profiles on this day.ย They will have one week to get upload at least 20 emails & 20 phone numbers.ย The SnapRaise! Campaign will kick off onย February 24th.
